Hi, it's Grace from Nadora Sky.
The best thing about permanent jewelry is that you mostly don't have to think about it. You shower in it, sleep in it, and live your life in it. Still, two questions come up a lot: how do I keep it looking its best, and what happens if something ever goes wrong? Here's everything in one place.
Everyday care
The care is genuinely minimal — that's part of the point — but a few small habits go a long way:
- Wear it in the shower and the pool if you like. Just know that chlorine and salt water over time can dull any fine chain, so a quick rinse with fresh water after helps.
- Wipe it gently with a soft cloth now and then to bring back the shine.
- Lotions and perfume are fine. I'd just let them dry before they sit right against the chain.
That's really it. No taking it on and off, no special routine.
If something happens — the Open Chair Policy
Life happens. Every so often a chain catches on something and comes off. If that ever happens with a piece from Nadora Sky, you bring it back to me and I'll reweld it for free.
There's no expiration on that. For as long as you own the piece, the chair is open. All I ask is that you hold onto the original chain so I have something to work with, and that it's still in a condition I can reweld.
I set it up this way on purpose. I never wanted "permanent" to come with fine print — if I'm going to put something on you that's meant to last, I want to stand behind it for the long haul.
Any questions about caring for your piece, you can always reach me at hello@nadorasky.com.
Until next time, Grace
